I read this book in just a couple of days days and I don't often find books I can't put down. It has an apocalyptic theme, but don't let that scare you. It is more realistic than you would think.
On another note, I started The Help a couple days ago after being on the waiting list at my library for 2 months. I can hardly put that one down either.

I really can't wait to read The Help. I put my name on the waiting list for it at our library and checked yesterday to see how long I still had to wait...I'm number 88! What's that, like 4 months of waiting still. I don't generaly use the library. I'm a go to the store and buy my own copy kind of girl. But I'm trying to be better and trying to be a good mom (esp. with homeschool) and take my kids there and let them love the library like they should. It's just a lot of work to take 4 kids there and keep them quiet and not tear all the books off the shelves and make a mess for the librarian's to clean up...
Anyway, can't wait to read The Help and this one you just finished sounds good.
Amazon has the hardcover for $9 and free super saver shipping. I was #66 at my library and got it after 7 weeks.
